If support at 5730 (ASX200) holds for the next few trading days I will be tempted to increase allocation to equities.

75% of asx200 stocks are below the 200SMA. That seems bearish to me and will take some time to change.

Hi..I understand that a Managed fund holding say, shares on the ASX 200 or 300, the Fund Manager will cut his/her position at some time in the event of a free fall  only to reinvest the resulting cash proceeds into other shares in that fund?..This operation, if I understand correctly, is in conformity with the operating mandate-that is-to stay invested in shares at all times during the trading period?..Therefore would not the movement of funds into the second group of shares serve to drive up the market values of these shares merely on the principle of demand and supply & so neutralize the free falling share index?..Thank you..Regards..Arthur
