Investing.com - major indices across the Asia-Pacific region traded in a mixed fashion on Tuesday, following a dip in US industrial stocks overnight.
The S&P/ASX 200 and KOSPI 200 noted moderate gains of 0.1% and 0.3% respectively, while Japan's Nikkei 225 saw a 1.1% decrease.
On Monday, Wall Street's S&P 500 fell 0.1%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.1% and the NASDAQ Composite fell 0.4%.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin and Gold reached new all-time highs, while Brent crude oil increased by 0.4%.
In China, The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ended 0.7% higher, while the Shenzhen Composite Index and the ChiNext Price Index advanced 2.1% and 4.6% respectively.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.4%, led by tech stocks.
European markets also experienced varied results, with the pan-European STOXX Europe 600 Index closing down at 501.49.
