Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock bourses were mixed at the close. France’s CAC 40 was down 0.03%; Germany’s DAX shed 0.14%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 0.06%; and the EURO STOXX 50 fell 0.08%.
