Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which rose 25.00% or 100 points to trade at 500 at the close. Tri Banyan Tirta Tbk (JK:ALTO) added 24.62% or 96 points to end at 486 and Sentul City Tbk (JK:BKSL) was up 20.41% or 30 points to 177 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which lost 14.14% or 28 points to trade at 170 in late trade. Batavia Prosperindo Finance (JK:BPFI) declined 13.67% or 95.00 points to end at 600.00 and Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk (JK:SMBR) shed 11.35% or 420 points to 3280.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 192 to 181 and 112 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.00% or 0.65 to $65.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.07% or 0.74 to hit $69.63 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1343.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.22% to 13423.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.50% to 10735.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 88.83.
