Investing.com – China equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate Investments & Services, Software & Computer Services and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite rose 1.07%, while the SZSE Component index gained 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Shanghai Composite were Guizhou Changzheng Tiancheng Holding Co Ltd (SS:600112), which rose 10.13% or 0.310 points to trade at 3.370 at the close. Long Yuan Construction Group Co Ltd (SS:600491) added 10.06% or 0.700 points to end at 7.660 and Jiangsu Hongdou Industrial Co Ltd (SS:600400) was up 10.03% or 0.370 points to 4.060 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Henan Oriental Silver Star Investment Co Ltd (SS:600753), which lost 10.01% or 1.79 points to trade at 16.09 in late trade. Shanghai Hile Bio Technology Co Ltd (SS:603718) declined 10.01% or 1.510 points to end at 13.580 and Hainan Airlines Co Ltd A (SS:600221) shed 9.97% or 0.290 points to 2.620.
The top performers on the SZSE Component were CCOOP Group Co Ltd (SZ:000564) which rose 10.02% to 4.72, Qingdao TGOOD Electric Co Ltd (SZ:300001) which was up 10.02% to settle at 14.82 and Jiangxi Zhengbang Technology Co Ltd (SZ:002157) which gained 10.00% to close at 4.07.
The worst performers were Huawen Media Investment Corp (SZ:000793) which was down 10.08% to 4.46 in late trade, Dare Technology Co Ltd (SZ:000910) which lost 10.02% to settle at 13.20 and Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products Co Ltd (SZ:300601) which was down 10.00% to 57.96 at the close.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1021 to 349 and 51 ended unchanged on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The CBOE China Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Shanghai Composite options, was unchanged 0.00% to 22.59.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.06% or 0.80 to $1230.30 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $68.17 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.01% or 0.01 to trade at $73.06 a barrel.
USD/CNY was up 0.01% to 6.7713, while EUR/CNY rose 0.14% to 7.9471.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 94.08.
