Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE), which rose 34.94% or 29.00 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI) added 25.00% or 62 points to end at 310 and Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) was up 24.87% or 235 points to 1180 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI), which lost 21.00% or 126 points to trade at 474 in late trade. Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT) declined 18.79% or 62.00 points to end at 268.00 and Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) shed 13.77% or 23 points to 144.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 169 to 157 and 102 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.33% or 0.15 to $46.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.33% or 0.16 to hit $48.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.44 to trade at $1264.46 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13294.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.06% to 10036.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 97.03.
