In addition, the company manufactures, purchases, and sells packaging products; produces and wholesales insecticidal and antibacterial preparations for household and medical applications; and purchases and sells machinery and equipment for the production of pesticides and equipment for pesticide laboratories. Further, it invests in, constructs, and leases offices, guest houses, and apartments, as well as leases warehouses, factories, and houses for business purposes. The company was formerly known as Vietnam Southern Pesticides JSC and changed its name to Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company in 1990.
