In addition, it manufactures dies, jigs, parts, and cutting tools for the disk drive, electronics, and semiconductors; and fabricates precision tools and machinery parts. The company was formerly known as LKT Industrial Berhad and changed its name to SAM Engineering & Equipment (M) Berhad in September 2010. The company was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Penang, Malaysia. SAM Engineering & Equipment (M) Berhad is a subsidiary of Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing Pte. Ltd.
