Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 0.97% or 320.0 points to trade at 33160.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 0.71% or 10.0 points to end at 1410.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 0.71% or 20.0 points to 2835.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 0.99% or 10.0 points to trade at 1000.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 0.51% or 80.0 points to end at 15700.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.51% or 60.0 points to 11740.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 11 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.02% or 0.02 to $130.95 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.69% or 34.00 to hit $2048.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.79 to trade at $1290.79 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.18% to 2960.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.31% to 929.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 93.05.
