Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bank Yudha Bhakti Tbk (JK:BBYB), which rose 22.00% or 33.00 points to trade at 183.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Dinar Indonesia Tbk (JK:DNAR) added 15.74% or 17.00 points to end at 125.00 and Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA) was up 11.11% or 36 points to 360 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA), which fell 10.00% or 42 points to trade at 378 at the close. Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) declined 10.00% or 60 points to end at 540 and Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) was down 10.00% or 14 points to 126.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 186 to 110 and 59 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.46% or 0.43 to $30.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.45% or 0.47 to hit $33.20 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.50 to trade at $1129.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.16% to 13762.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.19% to 9648.35.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 98.75.
