Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Financials and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Borneo Olah Sarana Sukses PT (JK:BOSS), which rose 25.00% or 280 points to trade at 1400 at the close. Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha (JK:WOMF) added 24.39% or 60 points to end at 306 and Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) was up 22.05% or 215 points to 1190 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pelayaran Nasional Bina Buana Raya (JK:BBRM), which lost 17.91% or 12 points to trade at 55 in late trade. Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) declined 12.72% or 29.00 points to end at 199.00 and Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) shed 10.32% or 80 points to 695.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 222 to 135 and 118 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.60% or 0.37 to $61.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.40% or 0.26 to hit $65.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.60 to trade at $1325.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.36% to 13688.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.09% to 10667.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 89.95.
