Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture, Mining and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Triwira Insanlestari Tbk (JK:TRIL), which rose 14.55% or 8 points to trade at 63 at the close. Roda Vivatex Tbk (JK:RDTX) added 12.78% or 850.000 points to end at 7500.000 and Ristia Bintang Mahkotasejati (JK:RBMS) was up 10.14% or 7 points to 76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS), which lost 9.95% or 38 points to trade at 344 in late trade. Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (JK:WINS) declined 9.86% or 21 points to end at 192 and Logindo Samudramakmur Tbk (JK:LEAD) shed 9.82% or 16 points to 147.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 174 to 107 and 99 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.76% or 0.70 to $39.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.58% or 0.64 to hit $39.83 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1218.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.59% to 13303.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.33% to 9902.65.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 96.21.
