Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Infrastructure and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Evergreen Invesco Tbk (JK:GREN), which rose 25.32% or 39 points to trade at 193 at the close. Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) added 19.30% or 22 points to end at 136 and Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN) was up 14.55% or 8 points to 63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT), which lost 24.31% or 70.00 points to trade at 218.00 in late trade. Bank Dinar Indonesia Tbk (JK:DNAR) declined 14.69% or 42.00 points to end at 244.00 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) shed 13.29% or 23 points to 150.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 201 to 131 and 111 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.88% or 0.45 to $50.68 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.98% or 0.53 to hit $53.34 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.86 to trade at $1260.54 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 13301.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 9950.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.79.
