Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Consumer Industry and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Tifa Finance Tbk (JK:TIFA), which rose 34.07% or 62 points to trade at 244 at the close. Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:KIOS) added 24.91% or 660 points to end at 3310 and Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk PT (JK:ZINC) was up 24.86% or 92 points to 462 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA), which lost 20.50% or 98 points to trade at 380 in late trade. Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) declined 16.91% or 115.00 points to end at 565.00 and Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) shed 9.31% or 19 points to 185.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 171 to 163 and 113 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.36% or 0.71 to $51.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.20% or 0.70 to hit $57.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.28 to trade at $1288.28 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.06% to 13514.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.12% to 10575.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.16.
