Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Mining and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF), which rose 25.00% or 70 points to trade at 350 at the close. Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) added 21.62% or 16 points to end at 90 and Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (JK:GPRA) was up 20.83% or 25 points to 145 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Victoria Insurance Tbk PT (JK:VINS), which lost 17.56% or 46 points to trade at 216 in late trade. Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (JK:UNIC) declined 16.67% or 900.00 points to end at 4500.00 and Duta Anggada Realty Tbk (JK:DART) shed 15.08% or 60 points to 338.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 186 to 128 and 122 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $47.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $49.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.24 to trade at $1283.44 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13283.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.18% to 9910.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 96.72.
