Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 2.59% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI), which rose 34.92% or 22 points to trade at 85 at the close. Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA) added 34.19% or 40.00 points to end at 157.00 and Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) was up 31.53% or 35.00 points to 146.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which lost 27.65% or 47 points to trade at 123 in late trade. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA) declined 22.64% or 24 points to end at 82 and Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (JK:UNIC) shed 13.36% or 640.00 points to 4150.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 230 to 99 and 113 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.81% or 0.40 to $49.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.80% or 0.42 to hit $52.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1251.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.50% to 13326.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.44% to 9918.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 97.38.
