Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.68% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Kabelindo Murni Tbk (JK:KBLM), which rose 24.83% or 74 points to trade at 372 at the close. Paninvest Tbk (JK:PNIN) added 24.67% or 280 points to end at 1415 and Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CASA) was up 17.52% or 48 points to 322 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA), which lost 15.73% or 56 points to trade at 300 in late trade. Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) declined 12.95% or 125 points to end at 840 and Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (JK:LMPI) shed 9.13% or 19 points to 189.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 209 to 148 and 121 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.17% or 0.11 to $65.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $70.48 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 9.90 to trade at $1353.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.02% to 13309.2, while AUD/IDR fell 0.40% to 10706.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 88.78.
