Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.66% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Martina Berto Tbk (JK:MBTO), which rose 35.00% or 35 points to trade at 135 at the close. Hotel Sahid Jaya Tbk (JK:SHID) added 25.00% or 310 points to end at 1550 and Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk PT (JK:ITMA) was up 24.41% or 155 points to 790 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Batavia Prosperindo Finance (JK:BPFI), which lost 24.71% or 126.00 points to trade at 384.00 in late trade. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) declined 20.20% or 300 points to end at 1185 and Wicaksana Overseas International (JK:WICO) shed 16.92% or 110 points to 540.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 221 to 148 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.50% or 0.30 to $60.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.47% or 0.31 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1299.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.17% to 13548.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 10560.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.06.
