Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI), which rose 24.53% or 130 points to trade at 660 at the close. Guna Timur Raya PT (JK:TRUK) added 21.05% or 32 points to end at 184 and Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) was up 16.88% or 26 points to 180 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Transcoal Pacific Tbk PT (JK:TCPI), which lost 24.94% or 1080 points to trade at 3250 in late trade. Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) declined 24.26% or 66 points to end at 206 and Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk PT (JK:AKSI) shed 20.00% or 60 points to 240.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 192 to 180 and 134 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.19% or 0.13 to $67.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.49% or 0.37 to hit $74.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.71% or 8.60 to trade at $1194.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.32% to 14629.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.49% to 10656.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.27.
