Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Trade, Financials and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.62% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM), which rose 24.72% or 88 points to trade at 444 at the close. Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk (JK:EPMT) added 24.44% or 440 points to end at 2240 and Tiphone Mobile Indonesia Tbk (JK:TELE) was up 22.79% or 155 points to 835 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kota Satu Properti Tbk PT (JK:SATU), which lost 20.00% or 40 points to trade at 160 in late trade. Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA) declined 11.76% or 20 points to end at 150 and Trikomsel Oke Tbk (JK:TRIO) shed 10.71% or 21 points to 175.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 231 to 166 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.79% or 0.49 to $62.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.89% or 0.64 to hit $72.71 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1224.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 14616.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.03% to 10688.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 96.08.
