Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Arkadia Digital Media Tbk PT (JK:DIGI), which rose 24.62% or 160 points to trade at 810 at the close. PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (JK:TNCA) added 24.00% or 30 points to end at 155 and Pratama Abadi Nusa Industri Tbk PT (JK:PANI) was up 17.71% or 34 points to 226 in late trade.
Biggest losers included First Media Tbk (JK:KBLV), which lost 17.96% or 88 points to trade at 402 in late trade. Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS) declined 15.19% or 72 points to end at 402 and Abm Investama Tbk (JK:ABMM) shed 14.35% or 310 points to 1850.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 191 to 184 and 124 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.59% or 0.44 to $74.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.87% or 0.73 to hit $84.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1190.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.44% to 15289.2, while AUD/IDR rose 0.21% to 10776.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 95.72.
