Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk (JK:MBAP), which rose 16.19% or 510.00 points to trade at 3660.00 at the close. Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) added 15.80% or 73 points to end at 535 and Bumi Citra Permai Tbk (JK:BCIP) was up 14.04% or 16 points to 130 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (JK:LMPI), which lost 15.87% or 33 points to trade at 175 in late trade. Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:KIOS) declined 13.90% or 460 points to end at 2850 and Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA) shed 12.77% or 12 points to 82.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 189 to 161 and 100 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $54.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $60.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.29 to trade at $1276.41 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.17% to 13561.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.11% to 10416.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 94.51.
