Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Property and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.50% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI), which rose 34.85% or 46 points to trade at 178 at the close. Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CASA) added 34.59% or 56 points to end at 216 and Tanah Laut Tbk (JK:INDX) was up 34.48% or 30 points to 117 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT), which lost 21.52% or 170 points to trade at 620 in late trade. Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) declined 15.00% or 120 points to end at 680 and Mega Manunggal Property TBK PT (JK:MMLP) shed 12.86% or 72 points to 488.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 226 to 134 and 118 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.24% or 0.15 to $61.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $67.67 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.70 to trade at $1318.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13422.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.10% to 10565.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 91.98.
