Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN), which rose 26.63% or 53 points to trade at 252 at the close. Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) added 25.00% or 58.00 points to end at 290.00 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) was up 24.65% or 70 points to 354 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Trimegah Securities Tbk (JK:TRIM), which lost 23.33% or 35 points to trade at 115 in late trade. Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) declined 22.13% or 260 points to end at 915 and Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk (JK:BSWD) shed 18.16% or 345 points to 1555.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 159 to 142 and 130 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.43% or 0.21 to $48.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.44% or 0.24 to hit $54.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 8.18 to trade at $1358.48 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.70% to 13196.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.14% to 10702.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 91.12.
