Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Mining and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST), which rose 25.00% or 500 points to trade at 2500 at the close. Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) added 24.41% or 155 points to end at 790 and Golden Energy Mines Tbk (JK:GEMS) was up 21.74% or 500 points to 2800 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG), which lost 24.67% or 74 points to trade at 226 in late trade. Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (JK:HDTX) declined 23.29% or 116 points to end at 382 and Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) shed 14.43% or 140 points to 830.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 168 to 158 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.16% or 0.08 to $48.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.16% or 0.08 to hit $51.05 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 12.60 to trade at $1262.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.15% to 13317.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.20% to 10620.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 93.46.
