Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (JK:BTON), which rose 24.74% or 119 points to trade at 600 at the close. Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI) added 13.55% or 21 points to end at 176 and Wahana Pronatural (JK:WAPO) was up 12.07% or 7 points to 65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Victoria International (JK:BVIC), which lost 10.00% or 11 points to trade at 99 in late trade. Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON) declined 10.00% or 33 points to end at 297 and Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk Pt (JK:BUKK) shed 9.91% or 53 points to 482.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 184 to 109 and 75 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.52% or 0.63 to $40.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.25% or 0.55 to hit $43.29 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.46% or 5.60 to trade at $1232.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.09% to 13170.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.27% to 10171.50.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 94.80.
