Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p), which rose 0.81% or 10.0 points to trade at 1245.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 0.67% or 220.0 points to end at 33300.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.42% or 140.0 points to 33540.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 2.24% or 380.0 points to trade at 16620.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.32% or 460.0 points to end at 34340.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.31% or 5.0 points to 377.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.70% or 3.25 to $123.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.44% or 61.50 to hit $2461.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1299.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.43% to 2890.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.40% to 776.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.97.
