Chemist Warehouse workers have won an immediate 8.75% pay increase, following a two-week strike at the company's major distribution centres.
Workers at the company's Queensland and Victorian distribution centers will receive pay increases of between 18.75% and 22.5% over four years under the agreement. Casual labour hire workers who were on strike will be able to convert to permanent jobs immediately, while casuals who worked through the strike will be able to convert after six months.
The strike impacted Chemist Warehouse's distributions centres and led to stock shortages in stores across the country.
Chemist Warehouse director Damien Gance said the agreement was a "great outcome" for the company and it's employees.
Gance denied claims that the striking workers were threatened at the picket line.
