Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 1.15% or 15.0 points to trade at 1320.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 0.90% or 300.0 points to end at 33560.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.72% or 10.0 points to 1400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 2.60% or 75.0 points to trade at 2815.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.02% or 100.0 points to end at 9700.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 0.88% or 300.0 points to 33860.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 14 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.34% or 0.45 to $132.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.15% or 3.00 to hit $1973.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.02% or 13.34 to trade at $1298.16 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.09% to 2923.67, while BRL/COP fell 0.34% to 923.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 92.84.
