March 19 (Reuters) - Australian coal miner New Hope Corp NHC.AX posted a 4 percent rise in its half-year net profit as its revenue was bolstered by stronger coal prices during the period.
Net profit for the six months to Jan. 31 came in at A$120.2 million ($85.33 million), compared with A$115.6 million in the six-month period ended Jan. 31 a year ago, New Hope said in a statement.
The company's revenue jumped 21 percent over the period. ($1 = 1.4086 Australian dollars)
