Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Consumer Services and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 added 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Indra A (MC:IDR), which rose 5.15% or 0.421 points to trade at 8.602 at the close. Meanwhile, B. Sabadell (MC:SABE) added 4.94% or 0.076 points to end at 1.614 and Distribuidora Intl de Aliment (MC:DIDA) was up 2.81% or 0.137 points to 5.018 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arcel. Mittal (MC:MTS), which fell 4.28% or 0.143 points to trade at 3.201 at the close. Acerinox (MC:ACX) declined 3.84% or 0.324 points to end at 8.115 and Endesa (MC:ELE) was down 1.92% or 0.350 points to 17.895.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 133 to 83 and 6 ended unchanged.

Gold for February delivery was down 0.97% or 10.60 to $1085.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 4.04% or 1.27 to hit $30.14 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 3.89% or 1.24 to trade at $30.64 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.20% to 1.0837, while EUR/GBP rose 0.66% to 0.7515.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 99.17.
