Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.42% or 180.0 points to trade at 12900.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.88% or 160.0 points to end at 18340.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 0.78% or 300.0 points to 38700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p), which lost 1.27% or 15.0 points to trade at 1165.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.11% or 100.0 points to end at 8900.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.03% or 15.0 points to 1445.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.21% or 0.25 to $121.42 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.09% or 3.00 to hit $3188.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 1.55% or 19.35 to trade at $1269.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.93% to 2876.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.95% to 823.93.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.68% at 93.74.
