Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (JK:ASSA), which rose 34.68% or 43 points to trade at 167 at the close. Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (JK:IMJS) added 24.77% or 54 points to end at 272 and Indospring Tbk (JK:INDS) was up 24.44% or 165 points to 840 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT), which lost 9.80% or 20 points to trade at 184 in late trade. Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA) declined 9.60% or 19.000 points to end at 179.000 and Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (JK:PICO) shed 9.47% or 16 points to 153.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 163 to 126 and 101 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.01% or 0.46 to $45.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.01% or 0.48 to hit $46.89 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.16% or 2.15 to trade at $1334.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.44% to 13100.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.20% to 9966.25.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 96.01.
