Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Holding Companies, Invest Companies & Other Finance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ciments Du Maroc (CS:SCM), which rose 8.04% or 80 points to trade at 1075 at the close. Meanwhile, Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) added 5.99% or 1.27 points to end at 22.47 and BMCI (CS:BMCI) was up 4.56% or 29 points to 664 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Taslif (CS:TSF1), which fell 6.00% or 2.64 points to trade at 41.36 at the close. Sonasid (CS:SOND) declined 6.00% or 30 points to end at 470 and Eqdom (CS:EQDM) was down 6.00% or 60 points to 940.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 15 and 6 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 3.33% or 1.27 to $36.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.73% or 1.03 to hit $36.85 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.58% or 6.20 to trade at $1069.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.09% to 10.8510, while USD/MAD fell 0.09% to 9.8790.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.90.
