Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.24%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 5.01% or 190.0 points to trade at 3980.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.35% or 200.0 points to end at 15000.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 1.27% or 160.0 points to 12740.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which fell 5.69% or 70.0 points to trade at 1160.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 3.42% or 90.0 points to end at 2540.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was down 3.33% or 1120.0 points to 32520.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 12 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.09% or 1.30 to $117.42 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.68% or 22.00 to hit $3229.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 1.35% or 14.40 to trade at $1079.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.03% to 3327.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.77% to 829.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 98.39.
