Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 1.32%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.32%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 1.32% or 80.0 points to trade at 6150.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.58% or 100.0 points to end at 17240.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 0.17% or 100.0 points to 59000.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 7.62% or 120.0 points to trade at 1455.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 4.95% or 330.0 points to end at 6330.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was down 4.44% or 140.0 points to 3010.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 30 to 2 and 1 ended unchanged.

Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; down 7.62% or 120.0 to 1455.0. Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) fell to 3-years lows; losing 4.44% or 140.0 to 3010.0.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.03 to $117.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.13% or 4.00 to hit $3184.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1166.90 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 1.11% to 2949.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.59% to 758.59.

The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 97.01.
