Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 3.11% or 4.4 points to trade at 145.9 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 2.72% or 0.75 points to end at 28.36 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) was up 2.35% or 5.2 points to 226.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which lost 5.36% or 4.70 points to trade at 83.05 in late trade. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) declined 1.47% or 4.1 points to end at 273.9 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) shed 0.94% or 2.4 points to 252.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 329 to 197 and 57 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $40.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.58% or 0.24 to hit $41.30 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.07% or 13.50 to trade at $1251.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 9.2798, while USD/SEK rose 0.68% to 8.2351.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 95.07.
