Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Public Services, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 5.13% or 1000.0 points to trade at 20500.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 5.03% or 450.0 points to end at 9400.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 2.91% or 150.0 points to 5310.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which fell 1.28% or 20.0 points to trade at 1545.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.18% or 140.0 points to end at 11700.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was down 1.11% or 180.0 points to 16200.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 13 to 11.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.18% or 140.0 to 11700.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 4.75% or 6.05 to $133.43 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.26% or 8.00 to hit $3099.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.88% or 9.60 to trade at $1103.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.92% to 2911.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.02% to 846.22.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.45% at 97.23.
