Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 1.87% or 500.0 points to trade at 27200.0 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) added 1.28% or 480.0 points to end at 37960.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.09% or 320.0 points to 29700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 0.75% or 80.0 points to trade at 10560.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 0.73% or 80.0 points to end at 10820.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) shed 0.35% or 40.0 points to 11300.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.63% or 0.88 to $141.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 2.14% or 40.50 to hit $1931.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1203.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.48% to 2983.70, while BRL/COP rose 1.09% to 949.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 101.20.
