Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 1.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 2.32% or 680.0 points to trade at 30000.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 2.13% or 1300.0 points to end at 62300.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was up 2.09% or 25.0 points to 1220.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which lost 1.90% or 240.0 points to trade at 12400.0 in late trade. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 0.62% or 240.0 points to end at 38500.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 0.10% or 40.0 points to 39700.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 24 to 5 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.97% or 2.55 to $132.02 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.33% or 48.50 to hit $2037.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.31 to trade at $1255.11 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.41% to 2884.21, while BRL/COP rose 2.17% to 886.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 97.02.
