Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Public Services, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 2.61% or 600.0 points to trade at 23600.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Isagen SA (CN:ISG) added 1.82% or 55.0 points to end at 3085.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 1.39% or 300.0 points to 21900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 2.52% or 140.0 points to trade at 5410.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.35% or 100.0 points to end at 7300.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was down 1.35% or 500.0 points to 36460.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 10 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.27% or 0.33 to $120.83 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.96% or 31.00 to hit $3259.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.00 to trade at $1104.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.72% to 2857.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.27% to 755.97.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 98.03.
