Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 2.06% or 600.0 points to trade at 29700.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.89% or 25.0 points to end at 1345.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 2.32% or 23.0 points to 1015.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.31% or 260.0 points to trade at 10980.0 in late trade. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) declined 2.16% or 220.0 points to end at 9960.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.25% or 15.0 points to 1185.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.37% or 3.30 to $142.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 5.03% or 109.00 to hit $2276.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.18% or 2.05 to trade at $1163.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 2993.51, while BRL/COP rose 0.79% to 896.77.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.55% at 101.04.
