Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.50% or 880.0 points to trade at 59400.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 1.06% or 300.0 points to end at 28600.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.25% or 60.0 points to 24100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 0.93% or 6.0 points to trade at 637.0 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) declined 0.88% or 340.0 points to end at 38400.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 0.86% or 10.0 points to 1150.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 8 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.57% or 0.85 to $149.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 2.02% or 41.50 to hit $2010.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1238.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 2886.34, while BRL/COP rose 0.57% to 934.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 100.92.
