Assura plc is a United Kingdom-based real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company specializes in the development of, investment in and management of, a portfolio of primary care, community, diagnostic and treatment buildings across the United Kingdom. It develops new buildings, invests in existing buildings, manages its portfolio, and owns them for the long term. Its primary care estate accommodates a range of NHS services in communities, from general practice to diagnostic and treatment services including x-ray, renal dialysis and MSK physiotherapy; dentistry; acute consultant clinics and other community and social prescribing services. The Company is a long-term property partner to more than 600 medical centers. The Company owns and manages a portfolio of about 645 properties. Its subsidiaries include Assura (SC1) Ltd, Assura Development Hub Ltd, Assura Primary Care Properties Ltd, Apollo Capital Projects Development Ltd, and Upton Community Health Care Ltd, among others.
