Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Miscellaneous Industry and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT), which rose 31.68% or 32 points to trade at 133 at the close. Harum Energy Tbk (JK:HRUM) added 25.00% or 270 points to end at 1350 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) was up 21.57% or 110 points to 620 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (JK:HEXA), which lost 9.95% or 380 points to trade at 3440 in late trade. Sigmagold Inti Perkasa Tbk (JK:TMPI) declined 9.91% or 21 points to end at 191 and Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS) shed 9.89% or 90 points to 820.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 183 to 110 and 95 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.18% or 0.09 to $49.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $51.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1268.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13016.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.26% to 9887.05.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 96.32.
