Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.98% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.63% or 3.30 points to trade at 205.40 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 1.22% or 2.5 points to end at 208.0 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 0.99% or 10.0 points to 1020.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 2.76% or 5.6 points to trade at 197.0 in late trade. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 2.31% or 3.74 points to end at 158.06 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 2.10% or 4.2 points to 195.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 352 to 232 and 69 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.32% or 1.28 to $56.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.00% or 1.23 to hit $62.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.54 to trade at $1290.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.70% to 9.9556, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 8.4396.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.58.
