Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.62% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.87% or 0.31 points to trade at 6.65 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.91% or 2.6 points to end at 137.4 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 1.11% or 0.46 points to 41.77 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which lost 3.81% or 6.8 points to trade at 173.1 in late trade. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 2.43% or 3.85 points to end at 154.35 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) shed 2.05% or 7.4 points to 354.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 313 to 312 and 56 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.35% or 1.57 to $68.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.49% or 1.88 to hit $77.37 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.90 to trade at $1302.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.69% to 10.2662, while USD/SEK fell 1.77% to 8.8027.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 94.03.
