Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 4.05% or 2.18 points to trade at 55.98 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.40% or 2.8 points to end at 202.5 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 1.36% or 0.24 points to 17.93 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which lost 1.85% or 5.9 points to trade at 312.4 in late trade. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.63% or 3.20 points to end at 192.70 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 1.38% or 15.0 points to 1072.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 325 to 271 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.88% or 0.50 to $56.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.52% or 0.96 to hit $62.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.70 to trade at $1248.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.49% to 9.9352, while USD/SEK rose 0.33% to 8.4491.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 93.91.
