Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.31% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 14.29% or 2.42 points to trade at 19.35 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 1.34% or 1.1 points to end at 79.7 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.02% or 2.50 points to 248.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which lost 2.15% or 4.5 points to trade at 204.6 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 1.41% or 2.7 points to end at 188.9 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 0.96% or 10.0 points to 1027.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 365 to 224 and 72 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.43% or 0.25 to $58.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.68 to trade at $1291.52 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.30% to 9.8280, while USD/SEK fell 0.56% to 8.2927.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.05.
