Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 6.36% or 1.03 points to trade at 17.29 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.71% or 2.0 points to end at 119.0 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was up 1.62% or 4.2 points to 264.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 1.50% or 2.5 points to trade at 162.9 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.39% or 0.65 points to end at 46.19 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) shed 0.74% or 0.75 points to 100.35.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 423 to 171 and 55 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.00% or 0.62 to $61.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.66% or 0.45 to hit $67.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1322.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.20% to 9.8008, while USD/SEK rose 0.05% to 8.1409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 91.72.
